flat out peep out

children, children.  I am so disappointed with the direction this upcoming fall season has taken the popular peep-toe boot of the 1930's.

If you must indulge in this trend, please try to be a bit more authentic, and therefore being a little more unique.  Our pals at Re-mix (my new favorite shoe designer) have hit the nail on the head.  The owner and designer owned a vintage shoe store in California for years before deciding to grace the masses of over size 6 gals with amazing "re-mixes" of true blue vintage shoes he had in his store.  We all know how difficult it is to covet any pre-40's shoes in remarkable condition that aren't tiny tiny tiny.  Must be all the hormones.

I just want to help all of you avoid being trite*.
*trite: lacking freshness that evokes attention or interest.
