Alice in Wonderland

I know a lot of people who say Tim Burton is boring because his body of work all uses simialar aesthetics.  Some say his stories aren't engaging.  Others say they are just plain predictable.
To these people I say;
"Off with their heads!"
I am so excited for this movie it isn't even funny.
I am a HUGE Tim Burton fan.
I love the way he uses color and his creepy factor is always right on.
I am actually surprised that this is a Disney film--the released images look so dark.
I have to say however, that I really don't know what to think of this new,
"let's all make a 3-D movie" phenomenon.  But I do think if anyone can pull it off it's Burton.
Not sure if you guys are aware (I feel like everyone is talking about this) that it is actually a sequel to the original by Lewis Carroll.
The film was shot in 40 days and is state of the art film-making utilizing live-actor performances melded with CGI animation and motion capture technology.

I have to admit that the only Alice in Wonderland I have seen was the one released in 1985 that scared the crap out of me as a kid.
Needless to say I am stoked as hell.
