The Origin of Love.

My favorite song from one of my favorite movies,
I think back to when I saw this, senior year of high school at Baxter Theatre with my mom's friend-who just so happened to be a drag queen.
It was epic.
This song is beautiful and imagines that we were once connected to our soul-mates and were ripped apart by Zeus.
It's such a wonderful story.
"The last time I saw you, we had just split in two, you was looking at me, and I was looking at you. You had a way so familiar, I could not recognize cause you had blood on your face,  I had blood in my eyes. But I could swear, by your expression, that the pain down in your soul was the same, as the one down in mine.  That's the pain, that cuts a straight line down through the heart, that we call in love.  We wrapped our arms round each other, trying to shove ourselves back together, we were making love.  Making Love.  It was a sad story how we became lonely two legged creatures, it's the story of the origin of love."
If you haven't seen this Rock Opera, I highly recommend it.
