Artist: Joey Syta: My Only Desire

Now I know I live under a giant rock down a ladder, through a series of tunnels and all, but when I just find out about a project an old friend has been working on (and completed 6 months ago) for 2 years, I have to kinda stop and ask myself, why? And then just be thankful that other people fill me in.

I remembered someone mentioned this to me the other day and decided to check it out. I found him profiled on Wooster Collective, and a number of other sites.

Taking two years to complete, I created My Only Desire, a rendition of The Lady and the Unicorn, a famous 15th century French tapestry using only Lite-Brite materials that I acquired from eBay auctions. The work is about 5 feet tall by 6 feet wide and is made from 36 overlapping pegboards comprised of approximately 55,000 pegs.---Joey Syta

Since then he has been approached by NASA to create a map for them out of Lite-Brite pegs. I am so excited for him. He has always been so passionate about his art and street art as a whole.
Proud of you Homie!
