Mama's Day Recap

Mama Zoe and my older bro Josh on our trek over the Williamsburg Bridge

Hope everyone had a lovely Mother's Day! I was lucky enough to have my awesome mom stay with me for the weekend and we had a blast. We did brunch at the Lodge, walked over the Williamsburg Bridge and wandered around LES, bought tons of fresh seafood at the Union Square Farmers market and went to Alex's Kentucky Derby party and drank delightfully strong mint julips on her roof with the best views of Manhattan. And that was just Saturday.

Sunday we checked out the new Brooklyn Flea on the Williamsburg waterfront (very cool and very crowded) and went to McCarren Park in the eve to play a little kickball. We tried to convince Zoe to play for The New Fronts, but she insisted that she's a better drinker and cheerleader, so we let her do just that - it was Mom's day after all. We finally ended the night at Commodore to prove to her that they make the best cheeseburger in town - you better believe she's a believer now!

So for all the Mama's out there, we love you and think you are the bee's knees! Especially you, Zoe!
