Peter Pan Inspired Collars from Andrea Bocchio

Wait didn't Peter Pan wear a green v-neck? Yes, it's true these stylishly chic collars are back (Kirsten Dunst, Zooey Deschanel, Michelle Williams, and Alexa Chung have been sporting them recently) but not inspired by our favorite boy who didn't want to grow up. The costume that made this piece famous was designed back in 1905, for the first American stage production of J.M. Barrie's play. In which Maude Adam's who played Pan sported an elongated and slightly wider version of the now more modern shortened rounded collar.

The Peter Pan collar has slowly been simmering this winter and is sure to be a staple this spring/summer. What I love about Andrea's is the simple fact that it's not permanently attached to just one garment. You're able to create your own looks with it. Pairing your collar with a simple blouse or adding a dash of sweetness to that dress you've been dying to wear. Andrea's collars are all hand embroidered and stitched with the finest details in mind $80 each.
