DIY Mixology: Banana Infused Whiskey

I think my new summertime drink of choice is going to be banana infused whiskey (or bourbon). It's easy and fun to make and tastes a lot better than a straight shot.

So all you is 3 bananas, peeled and sliced 1 750ml bottle Jameson, or another whiskey of your choosing but don't try this with some shitty whiskey like Canadian Mist.

Put the bananas and Jameson into a sealed container for three days.
You'll have a beauty like this...

And by then end those bananas will be blotted and floating at the top.

Strain out banana slices using a mesh strainer and discard. The infusion should be slightly viscous and cloudy—this gives the drink its unique texture, body and flavor. Pour infused Jameson back into container or bottle. Serve in a rocks glass with a single cube.

Now you could just discard these drunken bananas and make some slightly boozey homemade banana bread.
