It takes a decent amount of courage to ride your bicycle through an urban environment filled with texting pedestrians and inattentive motorists. While you may feel secure with your reflective gear on and your pee-wee sized bell it's just not enough for some situations, where you need to be louder than that annoying guy pumping the latest remix of "Somebody I Used To Know"
I present to you the Hornster. A bicycle equipped with a horn system powerful enough to shatter the sunnies right off that guys face. Well I'm exaggerating here, but it's pretty freaking loud. The Hornster emits a whopping 178 decibels! To put this in perspective the average human conversation is about 60 decibels, average city traffic inside your car is about 85 decibels, when you surpass 125 decibels permeant hearing loss can occur. The Hornster is composed of a three-bell Airchime KH3A air horn that belongs on the front of a speeding train, not a bicycle. No really this horn system was part of a actual train and powered by a scuba tank that's mounted in-between the handlebars and the seat.
If you have $8,000 lying around then the Hornster bike can be yours!
