Broski Bits: The Essential Button-Up(s)

Listen dudes, I'm tired. Like, really, really tired. I rode my bike to work for the first time in ages today and now my whole body pretty much feels like sludge. So I'm going to give you the most short and simple sartorial lesson that I have learned in my short time on this earth, which is that you need a nice button down in two color ways: white and blue. Why wouldn't you? Your lady (or man!) will give you the googly eyes much more often if you wear one of these bad boys.

They're easy to dress up or down or left or right, and are pretty much the most timeless piece of clothing ever. Whatever you want to do with it you can. Let me give you some examples of its versatility:

David Bowie

Serge Gainsbourg

Olivier Zahm

Paul Newman

So much versatility, and it's the same article of clothing! Well, not the exact same article, but you get the picture. Just make sure to get one that fits correctly. If you don't know what to look for in a dress shirt, there's a nifty little article on it here. Seriously guys, you don't live in your parent's basement anymore. It's time to stop dressing like you do.
