My 4th of July Pt I: Jamaica, Vermont

I honestly don't even know where to begin with this.
The past week has been life-altering.
The first half spent in the Stratton Mountains in Vermont, where I was surprised that even in the middle of nowhere, the towns opened up with people who didn't look like they lived in the middle of nowhere.    (well, mostly anyway)
My love Craig, got us together and took us to this gorgeous piece of property with 3 lovely cabins with a little river.  There was a fire pit in the front of the main cabin surrounded by large rocks where we were content to stand, dance, sleep, and even baptize ourselves after the rain.
So I suppose like the hammock, the rock also provides.
Our pal Ryan brought his PA so we had a jamming soundtrack around the clock and Craig recruited TJ  and Doug to help him build a look-out over 12ft tall so we could see over the tree-line and have a perfect view of the sunsets.  I was pretty impressed with my eagle scout---nothing but trees and rope held us high in the sky.
All in all, I would have to say I learned to always be a yes man, and never be too quick to judge, or you may miss out on a chance of a lifetime!
Stay tuned for Part II!
