Deus Ex Machina- worth traveling for

Men come from all boroughs to our Brooklyn shop to get their hands on Deus ex Machina's badass prints and well fitting menswear, so it's not a surprise to see them listed in GQ as one of "The top 25 shops worth traveling for".  Deus ex Machina meaning "God from the Machine" is a lifestyle brand that mixes motorcycles surf culture, apparel and even food. The store in Venice, CA called the Emporium of Post-modern activities, has a shop that builds 40 motorcycles a year, carries the full line of Deus apparel and even provides a good cup of coffee. Originally started by three friends in Australia, Deus moved into the US market importing their custom made bikes into the States. Eventually, they took a chance on an out of work bike builder in Venice who started making Deus' special bikes here in the US and lead to the opening of the first Deus shop in California. You can view the full list of shops worth traveling for here and plan a visit to Deus' rad bike shop/clothing store next time you are in Venice, CA. In the meantime, stop by the Greenpoint store to get your hands on some of our best selling styles.
