I love art, It's no secret. So I try to go to as many exhibits as I can in the city. One of my favorites this spring was 'Inventing Abstraction' at The MOMA. Throughout the exhibit MOMA invited some modern artists in residence to choose the piece from the exhibit which they found most compelling and discuss why they felt that way about the piece. You can view the interviews here on the exhibit's Tumblr page. You have to be in the right frame of mind to view and absorb art, so I can't help but feel that this watercolor pencil skirt from Crowned Bird would be just perfect for a museum visit. It's cheerful, light, airy and has a beautiful watercolor brush-stroke pattern. I just love it.
