If you happen to be in Australia in the next year, do yourself a favor and check out this exhibit at The Justice and Police Museum. It's a collection of police forensic photography (what I like to call, fancy mugshots) that highlights the shady characters and seedy underbelly of Sydney, Australia from 1912 to 1948.
While I'm fascinated with the mystery surrounding the alleged crimes of these bad bitches, I'm more so interested in their outfits. Just look at these crooks! Style for days....and days...and days!
Can you imagine if the police let you pose in your jail cell for a mugshot these days? I'd totally consider getting myself arrested on one condition : upon my release back into the world, I'd be gifted with my very own glamorous mugshot. Kidding. Kind of.
