For 30 years Matt Weber has been documenting intimate moments in the streets of New York City and his recently published 'Urban Romance' is sure to melt your heart and make you laugh a bit.
Weber began recording urban life through his photography in 1976 and became known for balancing the gritty loneliness of the city with moments of passion and love. Weber drove a taxi cab for 6 years and was privy to a diverse selection of subjects for his photography. His portraits are never staged and are taken completely in the moment and almost always in black and white.
